For the most part, I'm very active in Facebook; these days, the pandemic has forced me, like many others, inside our homes whuch is why you could say that posting and commenting in social media has become sort of a pastime for me. I think it's sad, really, considering that human interaction can never be replaced by any electronic or social media app. I would consider myself a handyman, I love working with tools, perhaps something I acquired from the men in my family who were engineers & handymen themselves. I'm not that interesting of a person in fact, you might even say I'm an old soul.
As mentioned I'm a communication major but it was never my intention to mahor im media communication. You see, I was an ABM student back when I was a senior in high school; I always thought I'd fall in the marketing program like most of my peers. But of course, life had other plans for me. Learning to write is essential for business and marketing & this is something the communication program can teach those who decide to take it.
Career-wise, I hope to make a name for myself in the business sector. As to what industry, you may ask? I don't know. I guess we'll have to see where life takes me. Apart from business, I love art; specifically architecture, landscape, & furniture. I'm proud to say I have a refimed taste & hope to someday work in ay of these industries. On that note, I might even like to work in the construction industry.
You are definitely not the first teacher to ask me what my expectations are for this semester & my answer for all of you is the same: understand. You see, times are different. This is something I not only expect from you, Mr. Jovellar, but for my classmates, as well. In these trying times, let's be human first. Other than that, I look forward to having you as my professor. I wish you a speedy recovery & I hope to see you soon.
